The Directors

  • Helen Savage

    DIRECTOR - FCMA CGMA

    With over 30 years of experience in both industry and practice, Helen has found her passion in helping to run and grow Continuum. Her primary focus is on delivering high-quality, timely work and ensuring client satisfaction. Outside work, Helen likes to travel (a lot!!) and socialise. She is also responsible for training the company security officers.

  • Brian Green

    DIRECTOR

    Brian brings over 30 years of senior finance experience with a particular focus on corporate financial strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate structuring. He has held pivotal roles, including heading the UK business advisory division for the largest French Chartered Accountants, and floating companies on the Nasdaq and AIM markets. Brian has a clear, approachable communication style and lists his personal interests as family, business and sport.

  • Andrew Carter

    TAX DIRECTOR

    Andrew began his tax career as a Tax Inspector with the Inland Revenue before progressing through roles at PwC, KPMG, and smaller advisory firms. He enjoys the challenges of advising owner-managed businesses, understanding both their financial goals and personal aspirations. With extensive experience, Andrew helps businesses navigate complex tax laws and ensures they understand the rules and how HMRC operates. His interests include golf and rugby.

  • Marie Lee

    HEAD OF ACCOUNTING - FCCA

    Marie has over 20 years of experience in practice, specialising in accounting, corporation tax, VAT, self-assessment, and client care. She qualified with the ACCA in 2004 and achieved fellowship in 2009. Marie’s aim is to help clients understand their accounts by providing clear, approachable explanations. She is dedicated to making financial matters easier to comprehend.

  • Stuart Lawson

    PORTFOLIO MANAGER - ACA

    Stuart is an experienced Portfolio Manager with over 10 years of experience, who excels in managing diverse portfolios and providing expert advice to clients. With his comprehensive understanding of finance and strategy, Stuart helps business owners navigate complex financial landscapes. Outside of work, he enjoys motor sports and cars.

  • Amy Rule

    ACCOUNTANT - FCCA

    Amy trained with a top 20 firm of accountants and brings a wealth of experience to the Continuum team. She has a hands-on approach to her work and is dedicated to ensuring clients receive the best financial advice and services. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs.

  • Gowry Arumuga

    PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT - ACCA

    Gowry specialises in property accounting and plays a key role in managing property portfolios for clients. She provides insightful financial advice and works diligently to ensure that property accounting operations are carried out efficiently. Outside of work, Gowry enjoys working on her allotment and contributing to charity work.

  • Jeremy Chislett

    PORTFOLIO MANAGER - ACCA

    Jeremy is a qualified Chartered Accountant with experience both working closely with clients in practice, and as a management accountant within the financial services industry. With extensive experience in reporting and analysis, Jeremy enjoys helping businesses understand their numbers, identify trends, and make informed decisions with confidence. Outside of work, Jeremy enjoys keeping active through a variety of sports and has a keen interest in cars.

  • Amy Stringer

    ACCOUNTANT - ACCA

    Amy has been with Continuum since 2018, developing a strong understanding of accounting and client support. Having completed her ACCA qualification and become a Chartered Certified Accountant in summer 2026, she is passionate about continuous learning and delivering excellent service. Amy is dedicated to helping clients stay compliant, informed and confident in their finances. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her dogs and socialising with friends.

  • Josh Gilroy

    TRAINEE ACCOUNTANT - AAT

    Josh joined Continuum in late 2023, bringing with him 7 years of experience in practice. Currently working towards his ACCA qualification, Josh specialises in VAT, management accounting, and statutory accounting. Outside of work, Josh enjoys hiking and plays an integral role on the Continuum football team.

  • Billy Shiner

    PORTFOLIO ASSISTANT

    Billy plays an essential role in assisting the Portfolio Managers with managing and overseeing client portfolios. He is focused on supporting the team and ensuring smooth operations across all portfolio activities, while also studying for his ACCA qualification. Billy enjoys weightlifting and is the founder of the Continuum 6-a-side football team.

  • Sally Nichols

    BOOKKEEPER

    Sally started her career in a practice in Southampton, focusing on accounts preparation and audit. After a break for children, she returned to work in various roles, including bookkeeping, payroll, and company secretarial duties in both accountancy practices and small businesses. Sally is passionate about Southampton Football Club and enjoys live music and theatre.

  • Maria Amour

    ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR

    Maria plays an essential role in supporting the accounts team by assisting with administrative tasks. She graduated with an MBA and has worked in several major companies both in UK and Spain within financial roles. Her attention to detail and organisational skills are invaluable to the smooth running of the office. Maria enjoys spending time with her family and being a mother.

  • Mandy Atton

    PAYROLL MANAGER

    Mandy has been an essential member of Continuum since 2015, managing payroll and pensions for clients. Mandy transitioned from a background in food microbiology to payroll and bookkeeping nearly 20 years ago to meet family commitments. She is known for her expertise in customer service and dedication to the company's processes. Her personal interests revolve around spending time with her family.

  • Aimee Lee

    TRAINEE ACCOUNTANT

    Aimee is a Trainee Accountant with a passion for learning and growing in the field of accounting. She has been with Continuum for a short time and is already making a positive impact with her hard work and dedication. Aimee enjoys spending time with her family and has a keen interest in developing her accounting skills further.

  • Jane Condon

    OFFICE MANAGER

    Jane is the Office Manager at Continuum, responsible for ensuring smooth office operations and creating a welcoming environment for staff and clients. With her exceptional organisational skills and a friendly demeanor, she is dedicated to helping Continuum run efficiently. Jane enjoys spending time with friends, family, pets, and indulging in music and theatre.

  • Suba Arumuga

    PROPERTY ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATOR

    Suba has recently joined Continuum as a Trainee Property Accounts Administrator. In her role, she provides valuable support to the property accounting team, assisting with day-to-day administrative and accounting duties. Beyond the office, Suba is a keen artist and dedicates much of her time to supporting charitable causes.

  • Chegwin

    TRAINEE SECURITY OFFICER

    Chegwin is a friendly and committed Trainee Security Officer, currently learning the ropes of the security industry. He is focused on maintaining a safe and secure environment and is developing valuable skills in this field. Outside of work, Chegwin enjoys food (specifically cheese) and socialising.

  • Belle

    ASSISTANT TO TRAINEE SECURITY OFFICER

    Assistant to the Trainee Security Officer Belle plays a key role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of the security team. She works closely with the security officer to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the team's success. Belle is friendly and approachable and has a passion for tennis balls.
